...okay, so this isn't really about MGG, but it IS about another project of his so the subject line's totally legit.

I dunno how many of you guys know of my love for Alvin and the Chipmunks, but lemme just say that...I love the entire franchise, in all its glory, a lot. And the live action film that everyone hated? I love. I mean, I love the Chipmunks bunches to begin with, but toss in Jason Lee and David Cross as the main humans, and get Justin Long and Matthew Gray Gubler to voice 2 of the chipmunks? I'm pretty much sold right from the get go.
So that movie is totally my guilty pleasure children's flick. (I have guilty pleasures in all movie genres, I can assure you)

Soooooo, knowing this, it should come as absolutely a surprise to no one to hear that I am pretty darn giddy over the sequel coming out, which I'll love regardless of how bad it is. Except it's called "The Squeakquel". It's grown on me, unfortunately, but even I can admit how silly that is.

ANYWAY, they're bringing The Chipettes into this one, Amy Poehler is supposedly voicing Jeanette, and there's a poster that's been released. So. I might just be a bit too excited about all of this! Please forgive my nerdiness, I've not learned how to be cool yet.
